RED RIVER GOLD - TV Series inspired by local lost gold legend

In 1870, a shipment of gold coins from the Royal Mint of England vanished without a trace. Intended to crush the Red River Resistance led by Louis Riel and the Métis, the treasure never reached its destination. 

A group of modern-day treasure hunters sets out to uncover the truth behind this forgotten chapter of Canadian history. But they’re not just chasing gold—they’re chasing a story of resistance, survival, and the secrets the land still holds.

Red River Cart Donated

The Red River Cart commissioned by the Richer Community Club, thanks to a donation from the Co-op Community Spaces program, was presented to the Dawson Trail Museum for display on the Museum grounds.

The committee felt that was the rightful location for it to be displayed for museum visitors and a feature on the Dawson Trail Heritage Tour.
